A sustainable wetsuit: any good?

Ever heard of sustainable wetsuits? I feel like people might judge quickly when they hear this term, but I can tell you, I've found my sustainable wetsuit and I love it! Stick around for some more info and recommendations!

The brand I'm presenting to you (subjectively, without any cooperation) is French and called Picture Organic Clothing. They are active in the watersports and snowsports and also manufacture clothes for our everday lives.
My wetsuit is a 4/3 one with a back zip, and what makes it even nicer is the glideskin neck seal, which prevents water from entering. There is also seamless construction (using waterless, eco-friendly glue) under the arms, which (thank God!) prevents you from getting rashes under the arms when you paddle a lot! The kneepads prevent the wetsuit from breaking at the knees (if, maybe, you get up using your knees too often?;). There is also a keypocket in case you wanna hide that treasure and the wetsuit fits super well and tight (I'm wearing a size 8 and am 1m74)! On the website, Picture also shows a size table which can be very helpful, as you want your wetsuit to sit tight!

Quick facts about the wetsuit (mine is the Pola model):
Thickness: 4/3
Materials: 84% EicoPrene (whereas conventional neoprene is petroleum-based, EicoPrene is made from a mix of limestone (70%) and recycled tires (30%), 8% Recycled polyester (from recycled bottles), 8% Nylon
Zip: Back zip
Water temperatures: 11°C (with boots and possibly hood and gloves) - 17°C (only the wetsuit)
Price: originally 329,99EU but at the moment in sale for 230,99EU (https://www.picture-organic-clothing.com/collection/en/water/1608-pola-4-3-back-zip-wetsuit.html)!

I can tell you that I've surfed in this wetsuit in 12°C water, and it did the job (have a look at the mountains behind me on the picture, there is snow on them, so it was cold)! I am absolutely thrilled to have found this wetsuit, as it allows you to surf in all conditions, while being sustainable and environmentally friendly, and so respecting the ocean we all want to continue surfing in! Also, I am so in love with my wetsuit's pattern, which includes some nice flowers and greens on parts of the arms and legs, and so doesn't become too much either! What's super cool too is that Picture's wetsuits patterns change every year and so there's plenty of choice!
If this has inspired you, go check out their website https://www.picture-organic-clothing.com/collection/en/44-surf and let us know if you found some nice surf gear or accessories!
Stay stoked and merci!
